Clarity from Chaos guest: Mr. Todd McNutt, founder and creator of Representing ME, a political media platform where Elected Officials and Candidates can post their positions.
This is not just another Social Media Site. This site is a Political Media Platform! The difference is this site is not about banter or bashing or general discussion. This is a place where Elected Officials and Candidates can post their positions on what they believe matters to their Voters.
RepresentingME provides Nationally elected representatives and state governors a simple and streamlined platform to communicate with the electorate. This is the first such political media site.
It’s a one stop shop for American voters to get and stay informed about the policies and positions of their elected representatives. Most importantly, it encourages transparency and accountability.
By putting these representatives under one roof, American voters can more easily get the information they want and need, without hunting it down on a google search or waiting for some media representative to get them on the record.
The site features individual pages for each Representative. The President and all former Presidents... First Ladies and Vice-Presidents are provided a page. As well as each State Governor... the U.S. Senate and Congressional Representatives. There is a specific place where Candidates for each office can have a page. The site offers Visitors the ability to award a thumbs up or down to posts. Registration is optional, but is required to use such features.
Coming features include the TownHall on each Representative and Candidates pages where people can post their opinions, without distracting on the Representative or Candidates own timeline. There will also be direct messaging and the ability for the Representatives and Candidates to go ‘live’ and post statements and events.
Mr. McNutt is a Navy veteran and author of the book, Other People’s Secrets. Todd has worked on numerous state political campaigns in Oklahoma. For the past two years, and has worked to develop and launch his political media platform to refocus both representatives and voters on policy.
